Chris Blalock and his wife Dorothy are both Charleston natives but they moved out of state after college and had no plans to move back home. They were in the process of relocating to North Africa to serve as missionaries when the Lord shattered their plans and called them to plant a church back in Charleston. They now live in the Wagener Terrace neighborhood on the upper peninsula.
Chris and Dorothy both received their B.A.'s in Intercultural Studies from North Greenville University. Chris received his Masters of Divinity from Southeastern Theological Seminary in 2014. Chris and Dorothy welcomed their first son Tommy into the world in October 2017. As a family, they are passionate about serving and loving their neighbors as a response to the hope and joy they have found in the gospel.
